Today I have posted on the net the first version of cfind. Follow the link and you'll see what it is about. From time to time I'll use the code I write for cfind as a support for presenting various ideas in this blog.

Have you looked at doodle , and libextractor that it uses?

doodle already implements an slocate-like SUID binary to allow a user to see only the files he can access.
